2018 Breakfast Meeting Content:
The meeting will address how hospitals can adopt sustainable practices in hospital and clinic environments.
We are inviting area hospital and clinic administrators who have been involved in or have an interest in sustainable environmental initiatives, to have a guided discussion about the opportunities and challenges of putting these initiatives into practice.
This year, we are pleased to feature Dr. Karin Zuegge, anesthesiologist at UW Hospital and UW Health Medical Director of Sustainability. She has been instrumental in leading the way to reduce waste in the OR and hospital through recycling, and has helped reduce waste from anesthesia gases. She will discuss the process of how to get started and engage staff. We will also take time to give each participant time to report on what they are doing in regard to sustainability at their respective hospitals and clinics so that we can network and learn from each other.
Our breakfast meetings have fostered a dynamic discourse between hospital and clinic leaders working on sustainability at many different levels.
THANK YOU to Clean Wisconsin for helping us host this great and productive meeting.
