Keith is responsible for state and regional policies addressing global warming as Senior Policy Director of Clean Wisconsin. Keith’s statewide environmental advocacy experience dates back to the 1980s when he worked for Clean Wisconsin when it was known as Wisconsin’s Environmental Decade. He held positions ranging from field canvasser to executive director, but spent most of his time as program director.

Keith has more than 25 years experience lobbying on a wide range of issues including polluted runoff, wetlands, metallic mining, recycling, incineration, air toxins, pesticide reduction, forest management, land preservation and sustainable energy policies. Prior to returning to Clean Wisconsin, Keith was campaign coordinator at the State Environment Leadership Program (SELP), where he ran a multistate campaign consulting with member groups from all over the country on the design and execution of their individual campaigns. Keith has a bachelor’s in wildlife ecology and a master’s degree in environmental communications from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
