Megan McVenes is in her senior year at UW Madison studying Human Development and Family Studies as well as Global Health.  She really became passionate about environmental health and awareness after her lobbying experience in Washington D.C. for children in Uganda.  In her free time, she is on the fundraising committee with Colleges Against Cancer as well as a volunteer at a local Madison elementary school.  She is excited for this opportunity to work with the Wisconsin Environmental Health Network as well as the Physicians for Social Responsibility Wisconsin to help them with advocacy and education to healthcare professionals, activists, and policy makers.  She will use this as a chance to learn as much as she can about environmental health and to spread the knowledge she gains to as many people in hopes to improve the world around her.
