Gasland II Movie Night

  • Madison Central Library, room 111

Gasland II is a follow-up to the Oscar-nominated film Gasland, in which Josh Fox looks at the dangers of hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, the controversial method of extracting natural gas and oil.

II shows how the stakes have been raised on all sides. The film looks at how powerful oil and gas industries are in Fox's words "contaminating our democracy."

Don't miss it!! Join us in room 111 at Madison Central Library, we'll have snacks and great discussion.

7:00 pm19:00

The one-hour movie will be followed by a panel discussion with professionals from groups such as 350Madison.org and WEHN. Food will be provided at 6:45pm by the Steering Committee individuals, and we know it's going to be a great event!
