Making the Connection 2012: Environment and Health in Wisconsin (May 4 and May 5)
WEHN MTC 2012 was a half-day in-depth continuing medical education conference, designed to train health professionals and environmental advocates in recognizing and treating environmental exposures common in Wisconsin. The faculty presented “Effects of Low-Level Pesticides,” “Radium in Water,” “Breast Milk and Environmental Toxins,” and “Public Health Effects of Endocrine Disruptors.” Additionally, WEHN’s Reproductive Environmental Exposure Assessment was introduced to participants. PSR Wisconsin provided key staff and volunteer support for the conference.
